What MaxLoader Checks
In the United States, MaxLoader applies the federal limits on the Interstate System, including 80,000 lb gross, 34,000 lb per tandem axle and the Federal Bridge Formula. In the European Union, it applies Directive 96/53/EC, including 40 t for most articulated vehicles and 44 t for intermodal combinations.
How MaxLoader Works
MaxLoader places the cargo with heavier items below lighter ones, calculates the load on each axle, and positions the load and the trailer axles so that every check is met. Where the consignment cannot be carried in full, it carries the maximum permitted and lists the remaining items with the reason.
